Marianne Hladun – Regional Executive Vice-President
Hi sisters, brothers and friends, I am proud to continue to serve as your prairies Regional Executive Vice-President. As a long time, labour activist and leader, I remain committed to you to ensure PSAC is representing and serving you to the best of our abilities. As your REVP, I am always available and willing to hear from you, good or bad I am and will be here fighting for you. However, I am honoured to serve alongside the talented and skilled Prairie Region Council members, together we are working to ensure the issues and needs you have are met and ensure the strength of the PSAC labour union remains strong and united across the Prairies.

Krysty Thomas – Alternate REVP
Hi friends, I’m Krysty I work, live and play on Treaty 7 lands. I was elected the Alternate Regional Executive Vice President at the PSAC Prairie Region Triennial Convention in June 2021. I have been active in PSAC for over 10 years and am proud to be serving my second term on the Prairie Region Council. I am proud of all my PSAC work and accomplishments, highlights include, advocating for expanded contraceptive methods in our healthcare plan, hosting Lethbridge’s first December 6th commemorative brunch to support survivors of gender based violence, volunteering in Guatemala as part of the Education in Action delegation, and serving on the Constitution Committee for the 2018 National Convention. I am a proud Agriculture Union member and work as a molecular microbiology research technician with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. I have two young children and enjoy a visiting local cafes, road cycling and cross-country skiing. I would love to get to you know and hear what the PRC can do to better serve and represent you.

Michelle Lang – Directly Chartered Local Representative (DCL)
My name is Michelle Lang and I am proud to live and work on the traditional lands, referred to as Treaty 4 Territory and that the city of Regina is located on Treaty 4 territory, the original lands of the Cree, Ojibwe(OJIB-WĒ), Saulteaux (SO-TO), Dakota, Nakota, Lakota, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation. I am currently serving my third term as the Directly Chartered Local Representative. In this role, I ensure the interests of DCLs are taken into consideration in the decision making process. I understand having a different structure can present many challenges and benefits. If at any time you have any issues or questions please feel free to reach out to me and I will do my best to find solutions. In addition to my role as DCL rep, I am currently serving my third term as President for Local 40005, representing workers as Casino Regina and am active on our Committees in Regina. My hope is to have open and honest conversations with you, so we can network and learn together.

Amanda Wakeford – Separate Employer Representative
Hello! My name is Amanda Wakeford, and I am the newly elected Separate Employer Local Representative for Prairie Region Council. I work for the Calgary Airport Authority and my goal over the next two years is to build a network to bring forward our issues that we face in the workplace as Separate Employer members. I look forward to connecting and working together to create change where it is necessary.

Danielle Poissant – Southern Alberta Rep
My name is Danielle Poissant and I’m your Southern Alberta Geographical Representative. I have been involved with the union for in various capacities for 14 years.
The Prairie Regional Convention opened my eyes to how large and diverse our union is. The diversity in our membership has inspired me to want to do more and connect with members and help others become more involved.
My goals are to connect with you and work together in our communities to create a positive image of PSAC, make the general public aware of our workplace struggles, and encourage lobbying all levels of governments on issues that are important to our members. I look forward to connecting with you!

Stasi L’Hirondelle – Northern Alberta Geographical Rep
My name is Stasi L’Hirondelle and I’m pleased to have been re-elected as your Northern Alberta Geographical Rep for Prairie Regional Council. In this role, my duties are to communicate with Locals/Branches, promote the creation of Area Councils, and work with various community groups. When I have time away from lobbying, attending a rally, or engaging in community initiatives, you can find me enjoying time with my daughter, or in the mountains. Gus Mardii – South-East Manitoba Geographical Rep
Hi I’m Gus Mardii, and I am proud to represent PSAC Locals in South East Manitoba.
I believes our collective strength and unity results in a stronger union. Our workers’ activism is one of the best ways to improve working conditions, advance fairness, equality, protect the health & safety of all workers and to break down social class barriers not only in workplaces but in communities all around. Unions have a proven record of motivating management, whether in unionized or non-unionized businesses, to advance the rights of workers. Michael Weisgerber – North-West Manitoba Geographical Rep
Hello. My name is Michael Weisgerber, I am the North-West Manitoba Geographical Representative. I have been involved with the union for over 10 years, I highlight and advocate for issues operating in the remote and semi remote locations including promoting training and education. I am excited to assist with increasing outreach, mobilization, and promoting union activities in the region. My name is Dawn Montgrant, I am the Northern Saskatchewan Geographical Representative. I am a proud union member and have been actively involved for over 20 years. Brea Baresinkoff – Southern Saskatchewan Rep
My name is Brea Baresinkoff (nee:Lewis). I am a proud PSAC woman that lives with an invisible psychological illness on Treaty 4 territory in the beautiful Cypress Hills of Southwest Saskatchewan. I am proud to be your Southern Saskatchewan Geographic Representative. With almost two decades of experience, and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table and understand first hand the power and necessity of solidarity. My goal this term is to ensure every Directly Chartered Local, Separate Employer, Agency and Treasury Board member in Southwest Saskatchewan knows how they can contribute to ensuring their union is the best it can be with no contribution being too small.
