Danielle Poissant Bio
Danielle is passionate about members’ issues and ensuring she provides another channel for PSAC members to engage with each other and the work of the union.
She has worked with the Defence Research and Development Canada Suffield Research Centre for almost 14 years as a research technologist. And is currently working as a senior research technologist for the Radiological/Nuclear Technologies Group.
For the past four years, Danielle has served as President of UNDE Local 30907. She is also the Vice Chair of the Lethbridge Regional Women’s Committee and the Regional DVP for UNDE Alberta and the North. And is part of the Technical Services (TC) and Common Issues Treasury Board (TB) bargaining team negotiating a better contract for TB employees.
She credits her ability to masterfully handle her work and union commitments with the love and support of her family and friends.
