Dawn Hardy Montgrant Bio

Dawn Hardy Montgrant is serving her second term on the Prairie Region Council as the Northern Saskatchewan Geographical Representative. She is currently working as the Governance Officer with Indigenous Service Canada. In this capacity, she liaises with First Nations communities to record life events, election results, perform trust fund audits and estate services.

Dawn has been actively involved in PSAC for over 20 years, involvement that started with a co-worker inviting her to a local union meeting. She started her active union participation from that first meeting, where she was first elected as Steward. Dawn quickly moved up the ranks serving in diverse and varied positions. She currently serves as the President of the Union of National Employees, Local 40195, and is a proud member of the PSAC Prince Albert Area Council.

As a Labour College of Canada Graduate, and participant to the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference, she applies all her experience to positively advance workers’ rights and ensure the membership is well represented. She is dedicated and passionate about volunteering and ensuring she is serving the members to the best of her abilities.
