Marianne Hladun re-elected Prairies REVP

Marianne Hladun was re-elected as Prairies Regional Executive Vice-President (REVP) at the PSAC Prairie Region Triennial Convention in Winnipeg.

Delegates recommitted their support to Hladun for a second elected term. She was previously elected in 2014, and she served for two years as REVP prior to that, after Robyn Benson was elected PSAC National President in 2012.

Hladun ran on her “proven past,” which includes experience on the regional council, as a bargaining team member, as a national officer and a Vice President to a Federation of Labour.

“It is about members knowing who their union is; about making sure that all members voices are heard; and about continuing to be available to you, the members.” Hladun told delegates.
