Call to Order: Meeting opened at 7:20 by Nicole.
Land Acknowledgement:
In this region, we live and work on Treaty One land, in the traditional territory of the Annishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree and Dakota peoples and in the heart of the Metis Nation.
PSAC Statement on Harassment – acknowledged as printed -Tracy Thor designated recipient.

Adoption of Agenda:

Adoption of Minutes:
No outstanding minutes. AGM was held on 23 Jan 2023.
The Reporting Packages 2022 and Budget 2023 submitted on 25 Jan 2023.
Waiting on Budget Approval. Thankyou Mona Simcoe for submitting.
Budgeted items scheduled will need to be requested for approval to the REVP individually until budget is approved. Nicole Papineau has already sent requests up to April.
Treasurer’s report:
Signing Authorities are done for Cristina. Tannis will be going on Friday to finalize.
Cristina will go to PSAC office and meet with Tracy and Mona to set up Treasurer’s Book.

Apr 22 – Mtg & Earth Day Cleanup at 242 Lizzie St. Winnipeg
Budget $200 MAMA Clan donation for feminine products (tampons,pads) $200 supplies, food, drinks for volunteers for event. This will be held at the former Lizzie Park in Winnipeg’s Centennial neighbourhood which was renamed in honour of prominent Indigenous activist Leslie Spillett. Now called Giizhigooweyaabikwe Park, for Spillett’s traditional name — an Anishinaabemowin word that means “ribbons in the sky” or Painted Sky Woman (and is pronounced GAY-zhee-GUHK-wab-EE-kway).
Apr 27-30 – PSAC Prairies Women’s Retreat – waiting for follow up information.
May 15 – “Beds for Kids” campaign speaker and drive Donations-twin bedding
Nicole will touch base with Faye Kingyens on this campaign as she is the lead.

Ways to Connect:
Discussion Series on Women’s Issues – Nicole presented ideas for a discussion series on women’s issues and received support on this strategy to increase membership engagement from executive.
Invite members to Facebook groups. At Component/DCL, meetings inform members of WRWC meetings and activities. All information and special activities are advertised through the PSAC Prairies Winnipeg office to the mailing lists.
