Guest Speaker: June Winger, National President for UNDE Component of PSAC.
June spoke about her past as she became the first female linesman for the military and loved the job. She started out as a steward with UNDE. She became the first female component president in 2016 on the PSAC National Board of Directors. She talked about how she handles the stress of her job and the importance of taking care of one’s self to avoid burn- out. She discussed the continuing need to improve the workplace to ensure that it is a welcoming and safe space for all women.

2022 PSAC Prairie Regional Women’s Conference is Oct 28-31.
Nicole can answer any questions you may have for conference as she is part of the planning committee.
Bear Clan Children’s Halloween party is Oct 31 – volunteers are always appreciated.
Mama Bear Clan/North Point Douglas Women’s Centre – Christmas Hamper Drive donations will start to be collected.
