Think of the Area Council as the friendly neighbourhood hub that connects Locals, Branches, DCLs, Regional Women’s Committees, and other PSAC regional groups.
They’re the crew that helps make things happen, from organizing fun social and community events to leading the charge on PSAC campaigns (yes, including those political action ones). They help spread the word, boost involvement with provincial Federations of Labour and District Labour Councils, and keep everyone in the loop with what matters.
In short: they connect, coordinate, and keep the momentum going…with a bit of fun along the way!
