4. President’s Report:
M Weisgerber presented that the report on regional convention and recent business will be deferred to the Geo Rep Report. The WMAC did participate at Brandon Pride March and Pride in the Park. Very well received again this year and interacted with several members from the region. WMAC participated at the Brandon District Labour Council Labour Day. Interacted and discussed several issues with PSAC regional members as well as other Labour representatives. Had many productive discussions with Labour friendly Municipal and Provincial candidates for upcoming elections.
5. Treasurer’s Report:
M Weisgerber on behalf of J. Grant reported the current balance is $ 3575.64. Received our allocation from the regional office. Made donations to Pride and Labour Day BBQ for participating.

6. PRC Regional Rep Report:
A Zurba, mentioned the enlightening experience as a first time delegate to the Regional Convention. A Zurba thanked those that nominated and elected her to the NW MB Geo Rep position she looks forward to working with members to further develop the region.
Of course it was mentioned and discussed that M Hladun was re elected as the PSAC REVP Prairies.
There was the first full meeting of the PRC in Calgary with PRC forming up the standing PRC committees and setting the priorities and their schedule for the upcoming mandate. A steep learning curve to start however there is strong commitment to carry out the priorities and mandates set from the Prairies Regional Convention.
7. WMAC Secretary Election:
T Thor took over the chair of the meeting to conduct the election.

8. WMAC National Triennial Convention Resolutions:
Three resolutions were intensely discussed and finalized for submission from WMAC, they are attached and are:
WMAC001 – Schedule of Benefits for Strike
WMAC002 – Pet Care Allowance
WMAC003 – Public Service Staffing

9. Points from the Floor:
G Johnston asked about the current PSAC Constitution and why an updated version has not been published since the last PSAC Constitution.
The Chair will endeavour to discover a reasonable explanation.
10. Next meeting
Early Nov to discuss United Way Christmas Tree Auction planning and election of delegate to PSAC National Triennial Convention.
