4. President’s Report:
M Weisgerber presented that he attended the the Regional Committees Workshop along with G Alton. M Weisgerber was absent from an All Committees teleconference however A Zurba did attend and can provide additional information. M Weisgerber is working with J Grant regarding the United Way Christmas Tree Auction.
5. Treasurer’s Report:
M Weisgerber on behalf of J. Grant reported the current balance is $ 3575.64. There will be an addition of $750 from UNDE Local 50704.
G Alton made a motion for the UNDE donation to be utilized to buy the attendees tickets for the decorating party and the remainder of the budget to go toward the auction bidding budget at the United Way Christmas Tree Auction.

6. PRC Regional Rep Report:
A Zurba, met with local presidents regarding barriers and wins within the areas. One particular meeting was the AGM 50057 RCMP of Brandon where A Zurba assisted with elections and offered additional support.
Strike debrief was in October. Not many people but A Zurba did attend virtually.
PRC met on 7 November. This meeting was well attended and there were lots of ideas flowing. A Zurba was introduced to Prairie Regional Committees where support was offered.
National Leadership Training is coming up from 15-17 December 2023 at the PSAC National Conference. There are lots of training opportunities on the PSAC website for Prairies specifically.
October 26th meeting for the Strike Debrief was cancelled limiting participation.

8. United Way Christmas Tree Auction:
M Weisgerber and A Zurba will be decorating the tree and part of the auction team. If anyone else wishes to attend please let either of these members know asap. The event will take place on 30 November 2023 from 5:30 to 7:30pm at the Victoria Inn in Brandon, MB. They will be serving Pork on a Bun and tickets will be paid for by the WMAC. There is no Gala this year as 2 nights was too much to commit to last year so one night was agreed upon for this year.
M Weisgerber has information on the family. Shopping for gifts and Christmas decorations will be J Chelkowski. M Weisgerber and A Zurba will gladly assist if needed.
9. Points from the Floor:
- A Zurba mentioned that PSAC Prairies received audio video equipment (OWL) to set up virtual meetings with the ability to potentially view the Upcoming United Way Christmas tree Auction. This equipment can be used by any committees or Area councils within the Prairies region and just have to let A Zurba know.
- T Thor stated that the PSAC education schedule for January 2024 and going forward for the year will be posted at the end of November 2023. In a week and a bit.
- Alicia asked if the recent Area Council meeting minutes were posted on the PSAC website and the answer was yes they are.
