Tim Hubick Bio

Tim Hubick was re-elected as the Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Rep at the PSAC Prairie Region Triennial Convention in June 2023.

He has been involved with the PSAC for over 20 years. His involvement began with a health and safety issue in his workplace and has since been the Southern Saskatchewan Geo Rep for prairie region council, Steward, Chief Steward, Southern human rights committee chair, Treasurer of the Regina Area Council and Alternate GLBT Persons PRC Rep. After a life changing accident in 2018 left him with a life time physical disability and a lengthy stay in the hospital. Tim was challenged to face his own battle with PTSD and other mental health challenges after being released from the hospital Tim says “my eyes were opened to the many challenges both mentally and physically in the work place and community”.   This change of life sent him on a journey of passion to be an advocate for building more inclusive world both psychological and physically. With new understand of the duty to accommodate process a passion for human rights and the desire to help others. Tim looks forward to serving as your Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Rep.   

Tim is a Joint Learning Program Facilitator, As a Toastmaster he served in various positions including District Governor for Alberta/Saskatchewan with the responsibility for 4000 members. He is trained as a Master Facilitator (train the trainer) for the RCMP Building Emotional Resilience for RCMP a Unified Protocol Prevention Program. A Peer to Peer Rep for RCMP, a positive spaces champion and has been trained as a mental health first aider.  

He is a Red Seal Chef currently employed by the R.C.M.P. Depot Division as a cook since 2000.
