Prairie Region Council February 2015
This is not a long report as I have not had a lot of activity since my surgery.
In November 2014, I was involved with the Manitoba Area Councils with the process of determining lines of division for each Area as well as for each Geographical Rep. This was enlightening because it helped determine what area each council or rep had as well we had a good opportunity for discussion as to how not to replicate the same work over and over again.
In December 2014 I took part in the United Way Christmas Tree Auction which was a great success. I have attached a picture of Brother Glen being a really great sport as the elf.
I took part in the PSAC Prairies Leadership training held in Winnipeg in January 2015. I always fine it inspiring to hear all the stories and activities that other activists are part of. We need to come up with a way to continue these discussions on an ongoing basis.
I have had conference calls with the Finance Committee and was pleased that we were able to establish the Terms of Reference for the Committee. Great job everyone.
