Approval of Minutes from Last Meeting Michelle Lang/ Jennifer Beattie
Financials: We have $1336.03 as of September 30th, 2022, in our account. Michelle asked if we wrote a cheque to PATHs when they did a presentation. Daniela will double check and if not, we will issue cheque.
Approval of Financial Report: Daniela Aubichon/ Jessica Bonish
Michelle reported that December 6th is the National Day for Violence against Women. Since the SFL already has an established event to commemorate this, the motion was made to Donate for $ 100 to the SFL event for December 6th, 2022, commemoration. The motion was brought forward by Daniela Furkert and seconded by Lorna Rushfeldt and approved by the committee.
Michelle Reported that at the upcoming Women’s committee there will be an action to sign up for 1 or 2 Days of Action during the month of December. The RWC made a motion to donate $200 dollars towards feminine hygiene product to donate to Sofia House in Regina. Also, to donate $100 to Envision Counselling in Estevan to buy Feminine Hygiene products for the clients they serve.
