The newly formed Prairie Region Council (PRC) Health & Safety Committee met on Friday July 7, 2017 to discuss the functionality of a Regional Health & Safety Committee. The committee is seeking input and actionable ideas so that we can arrive to a clear direction on how the Regional Health & Safety Committee can operate.
We are looking for advice on how you see this committee functioning in the following areas:
– MANDATE
– OBJECTIVES
– COMPOSITION
– OPERATION
– ANNUAL MEETINGS

The PRC Health & Safety Committee will gather and review your responses then we will summarize a recommendation to present to the REVP and the PRC for ratification.
Note: This committee is being established in accordance with Resolution CS-050 (which was adopted at the 2015 PSAC National Triennial Convention. This resolution mandated the start-up of a Regional Health and Safety Committee. Much discussion is still ongoing how to meet the mandate of this resolution in our region.
