Kristin Bowler Bio
Kristin is currently serving her first term as the South-East Manitoba Geographical Representative on the Prairie Region Council.
She currently works as a Protein Technician, where she monitors protein instruments across Canada. In this role, she is responsible for creating and analyzing samples for both internal use and external clients.
Over her nine years with PSAC, Kristin has held various roles within her Local executive, including Secretary, Vice-President, and currently, President. In 2023, she was also elected as the Alternate Regional Representative for Manitoba, Northern Ontario, and Nunavut within her component.
Kristin’s journey into union activism began in 2014 after attending her Local’s Annual General Meeting. That initial spark of interest grew through her participation in the Agricultural Triennial and through the strong sense of community and lasting friendships she built with fellow members, cementing her commitment to union work.
Outside of union activities, Kristin enjoys spending quality time with her son and her cat, Lilo. She stays active through leisurely walks and Zumba classes and unwinds by watching the latest binge-worthy shows on Netflix.
