The Winnipeg Human Rights Committee is inviting you to walk with us in the Winnipeg Pride Parade!
Join us on Sunday, June 2nd as we walk the parade route through downtown to the Forks celebrating Winnipeg’s 2SLGBTQ+ community.
Spaces are limited. Register early to guarantee your space in our group.
Important: As this is a highly popular event, your registration is your commitment to attending. Failure to attend means those on the wait list were not given the same opportunity. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
What:
Winnipeg Pride Parade
When:
Sunday, June 2nd . Members need to be in designated parade position no later than 10:45am. Parade starts at 11am.
Where:
Parade starts on Memorial Ave – across from Legislative Bldg. Look for the PSAC flags for our location.
What to bring:
Good walking shoes, water, sunscreen and a hat, along with your favourite Pride gear
Note: This is a walking event and we do not have a float. Please plan accordingly.
**We are also looking for volunteers to be parade marshals to ensure safety of all of those in our group. If you are able to volunteer for this role, please identify on the registration form.
