Living Library: Women’s Voices & Stories
Join us on Saturday, October 4, 2025 (12:45–3:15 pm) at the PSAC Regional Office in Regina (#110, 1230 Blackfoot Drive, Regina, SK) for a special afternoon of connection and learning. Our Living Library will feature three inspiring speakers who will share their lived experiences and insights:
- Joan McDonald – raising awareness about domestic violence and the importance of breaking silence.
- Sue Delanoy – a lifetime of advocacy for children, families, and stronger community supports.
- Dodie Ferguson – union leadership, human rights, and the impacts of colonization on Indigenous people.
Think of it as “checking out” a living book: you’ll hear powerful stories and have the chance to ask questions in a welcoming, supportive space. A light lunch is provided, and carpooling can be organized for those coming from outside Regina.
We also encourage participants to take part in the Sisters in Spirit Walk for Healing on Friday, October 3 (10:00 am–12:00 pm), honouring the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. As the action piece of our Living Library, we will be holding a Toy Drive in support of the YWCA childcare program. If you’re able, please consider bringing a new toy donation — kindly requested, but not required.
This event is open to all PSAC members in good standing who identify as a woman.
