The PSAC is very excited to invite you to our first Seminar for Academic Workers in Alberta. A big thanks to members of your respective Labour Committees for working with us to develop a theme and an agenda that we feel has content that’s well timed for the current political climate, mobilizing during the pandemic, and collective bargaining.

The seminar Labour in the Academy: Fostering Solidarity, Mobilization, and Advocacy is aimed at bringing folks together to build a network of workers in academia. We hope it will empower, support, and provide tools to mobilize their members, foster the intent of solidarity, and create a space where we can continue to fight for post secondary and post secondary workers. As a Labour Relations Committee member or Steward we are inviting you to join us at this seminar.

All attendees are entitled to claim mileage for the Friday, June 17th and the Monday, June 20th. Please contact Tesla LeSaux for more information on how to claim this.

Please note: This event will be following the PSAC’s pandemic protocols. This means attendees will be required to prove status of vaccination (unless exempt), attendees will be asked to wear masks, and to be physically distanced. Thank you.
