Join Us on October 17th to Put Together Hygiene Kits for Mama Bear Clan

Join the Winnipeg Regional Women’s Committee on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 10:00am at the Winnipeg Regional Office as we put together feminine hygiene kits, toiletry packs, and snack packs for the Mama Bear Clan.  Mama Bear Clan is a community safety initiative created by the North Point Douglas Women’s Centre Women’s Warrior Circle. The Mama Bear Clan helps to provide a sense of community, safety, and belonging. Collecting items to help support women in need is just one of the initiatives that Mama Bear Clan provides.

If you’re unable to join us on that day but would still like to donate, items can be dropped of at the PSAC Regional Office (4^th Floor – 175 Hargrave Ave) between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm before October 15^th.

Examples of donations are:

• Travel size – shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, soap
• Feminine hygiene pads / tampons
• Toothbrushes
• Socks
• Mini gloves
• Winter hats
• Water bottles
• Dental floss
• Baby wipes
• Individually wrapped snacks (cookies, granola bars, etc)
• Larger hygiene products are also welcome

Please note: Items such as mouthwash and hand sanitizer should be alcohol free.

All those registered will receive an email confirmation from the Committee in advance of the event.
