BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS: Gathering and Ceremony at Turtle Lodge
September 28, 2022
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Turtle Lodge at Sagkeeng First Nation

Join us for a full day immersive Indigenous Awareness experience hosted by Turtle Lodge at Sagkeeng First Nation on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
The Public Service Alliance of Canada has committed to doing its part to ensure the rights of Indigenous Peoples are honoured and respected in Canada and abroad. PSAC has made a commitment to our members to put Truth and Reconciliation and decolonization at the center of our work.
In an effort to do that work, we have organized our first immersive Indigenous Awareness experience for members. We are taking our classroom out to the community and will spend a full day building relationships through hearing and learning from Elders, Grandmothers, and Knowledge Keepers through Indigenous Ceremony. Through this important work, we can better support our Indigenous members to promote and increase participation in our Union as well as provide necessary education for our non-Indigenous members.
