Advanced Duty to Accommodate

Open to all Saskatchewan Members (Regina & Saskatoon)

*Though not required as prerequisites, priority in the selection process for this advanced course will be given to those that illustrate prior education and learning through DTA workshops, webinars, courses, and other PSAC events, as well as other PSAC training such as Grievance Handling or Steward Training.*

This advanced three-day course will examine what is the duty to accommodate and examine the roles of employers, unions and individuals in implementing accommodation measures. You will spend time reviewing the legal and collective agreement provisions that support accommodation, examine accommodation strategies and identify ways of supporting the duty to accommodate.
