2026 Winnipeg Mobilization Summit – “Organize for Success” (In-Person)

PSAC Prairie Region is pleased to invite local executive members to join us in an engaging opportunity to connect with other PSAC members around Treasury Board bargaining, and continue the conversations from the May summit and follow up discussions.

The 2026 PSAC Prairies Mobilization Summit #2 takes place Wed, Sept. 9, 2026 from 8:30am to 4:30pm at the Union Centre (2nd Floor – 275 Broadway, Wpg). This will be an in-person event. We invite local executives or those responsible for mobilization to register for this opportunity.  Funding is limited to 2 executive members per local. Those registered may or may not have had the opportunity to attend the previous meetings, though the expectation of participants will be that they will be positioned to take an increased role with mobilization activities.

The goals of the summit will be to:

• Provide members with an overview of the current state of bargaining
• Strategize on getting all members out to vote
• Talk about the implications of tables bypassing the Public Interest Commission (PIC)  
• The different kinds of strikes
• Having members become financially prepared
• Put together a local or regional mobilization plan

Summit participants will be able to ask bargaining team member questions about the current state of bargaining. We will check in with local Executive on the connections they have made with their membership, identify challenges, and strategize to fully support our bargaining teams.
