  • Budget: Discussed, motioned (Stasi L’Hirondelle), seconded (Denise Davey) and All committee members in agreement for the budget costs for this event for a total of $250 approximately. Refreshments – coffee, donuts, volunteer meals for Friday setup and Saturday’s takedown and required miscellaneous items. Note: Budget summary approval for this event is $1050 for a total of 4 events, however, will only be able to hold 2 events. September 23 and a planned one in October. Discussed “shopping bags” – several committee members will bring some, no need to purchase any.
  • Location/Advertisement: Boys and Girls Club (BGC) – Denise Davey has taken the lead for sending posters out to the community for “women in need” – these posters will be posted through the BGC Facebook page, grocery stores, hospital. Denise suggested that the “women in need” will be circled so it stands out to the public.
  • Volunteer Schedule – Setting up will start at 6 pm on Friday as there is a Youth night. Kim advised that she will be needing some help to unload the items from the vehicle before we can start setting up. Madeline Lee and Stasi advised that they have some dollies and will bring them to help unload the items.
  • Kim received emails from volunteers, however, there were not many volunteers for the end of the day for clean-up. Committee members offered their help. Kim asked for all that can assist to send an email and Kim will update the schedule. Volunteer Schedule – Appendix A as of September 20, 2023.
