Workplace Inspection and Investigation (Virtual)- Registration Closed

By the end of this 3-hour virtual course, participants will be able to:

• Differentiate between danger as defined, and occupational hazards
• Understand and apply the Hierarchy of Controls
• Explain Due Diligence and the Committee’s role in Hazard Prevention Programs
• Explain the terms:
  • Right to know
  • Right to participate
  • Right to refuse
• Explain the concept of workplace inspections and hazardous occurrence investigations
• Give examples of these investigations

This three-hour course is part of a series of health and safety training opportunities. This general course is intended for any member that has an interest in H&S, sits on a committee, acts as a representative or works in a safety sensitive position.
