Convention Preparation Course: Getting Ready For Convention (In-Person, Winnipeg)

This course will familiarize delegates to the PSAC Prairies Triennial Convention with the process of passing resolutions and the rules of order that will be used at the convention. 

Who is this course for? 

This course is open to all members but priority will be given to PSAC members who are registered as delegates or observers to the next PSAC Prairies Triennial Convention.  

This course aims to enable participants to: 

• Be able to explain the main purpose of the convention
• Develop strategies for getting support for resolutions at convention
• Be able to explain how voting works at Convention 
• Be familiar with the Rules of Order used at Convention

Please note, that no member should be at a loss of salary for any courses taken. PSAC will cover salary for courses taken during your regular scheduled work hours.
