Virtual Pan Prairie Course for the Women of Prairies

Sat Oct 1   – 9 am to 4 pm MST and 10 am to 5 pm CDT

During this one-day workshop participants will:

♀  Discuss the history of women’s work and the labour movement

♀  Know more about the history of the labour and social justice movements and, in particular, the achievements and challenges of women in those movements;

♀  Know more about the history and achievements of PSAC women, past and present, and women activists around the world

♀  Be able to appreciate and value the struggles of different groups of women (i.e. Indigenous women’s rights; Quebec women and abortion; young women; women in “non-traditional” work)

♀  Be able to identify current challenges to women’s equality

♀  Develop strategies for the work still to be done

♀  Create allies and build solidarity!

**This course is highly recommended for women who would like to participate in the upcoming PSAC regional and national Women’s Conferences. **
