Alex Creamer Bio
Alex is serving his first term as the Young Workers Representative on the Prairie Region Council. He currently works as a Community Parole Officer, in this capacity he supervises federal offenders while they are on various forms of conditional release in the community.
Alex became involved in PSAC in 2015 through a local info picket. This first foray led to organizing wellness and social mobilization events for his local and as Shop Steward. He is now serving as his Local’s President and the Calgary Area Council President.
In addition to holding a Bachelor of Science in Physics, Alex recently received the USJE 2021 COVID-19 Recognition Award for his exemplary service to the component during the pandemic.
Alex is dedicated to speaking out in support for employee rights, health and safety, and collective bargaining. He believes it is important to reach out, support and develop PSAC Young Workers not only for the future of the union but to foster the collective community strength among this unique set of workers.
