Jo Hildebrand Bio
Jo Hildebrand was elected to their first term as 2SLGBTQIA+ Representative at the 2026 PSAC Prairie Region Triennial Convention.
Jo has worked as a Firefighter for more than nine years and has been actively involved with PSAC for the past eight. Their union involvement includes serving on their on their Local Health and Safety executive, acting as their Local Human Rights Representative since 2020 and more recently serving as Co-Chair of the Northern Alberta Human Rights Committee.
As Jo begins their first term, they are grateful for the opportunity to represent members across the Prairie region. A strong advocate for human rights, Jo believes these principles should remain at the forefront of every decision our union makes. They look forward to listening to members, learning from their experiences, and supporting them throughout their term.
