Eric McCrimmon Bio

Eric McCrimmon was elected to his first term as Southern Saskatchewan Geographical Representative at the 2026 PSAC Prairie Region Triennial Convention.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan, and pursued other educational opportunities including a graduate Certificate in Public Policy from Johnson Shoyama School of Public Policy. He currently works as a Border Services Officer, in which he facilitates trade and travel across the border. He became involved in the union once he witnessed how the employer treated members, especially Young Workers, and he knew he needed to step up and fight for respect and fair treatment of his fellow members.

He has held a variety of positions throughout his component and PSAC Prairies, including but not limited to, Branch President, Vice-Chair of the Southern Saskatchewan Area Council, Vice-Chair of Young Workers Committee, FB bargaining team member and most recently serving as co-chair of the PSAC Prairies Triennial Convention Bylaws Committee co-chair.

Eric also recharges through sitting by campfires and enjoys the restorative properties only a cuddle with a kitten can provide.
