Human Rights Workshop (In person, Winnipeg)

December 6th - 7th, 2025

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Winnipeg Regional Office

In this two day in person course, we will explore issues involving a variety of equity deserving groups, learning more about the particular challenges with achieving equity, celebrating advancements, and creating a better awareness of equity deserving groups needs so that we can all become greater allies. We will have a focus on groups that may not have the same opportunity for advocacy, such as invisible disabilities or disabilities where there remains much stigma. This will be achieved through guest speakers on certain areas, and an exploration involving affected members of society and their advocates, both within the workplace and within our communities. This course is open to all members in good standing, whether you identify with an equity deserving group or would like to become a greater ally.
