Regional Breakdown of Affected Prairies Members

Since the release of the federal budget, thousands of PSAC members have received notices from their departments saying they could lose their jobs.

Unfortunately, due to the disorganized manner this government discloses the information to PSAC, we don’t always know exactly where our members are affected, or how it will impact services to Canadians.

Below is a regional breakdown, organized by department and province, of how the Conservative government’s planned 19,000+ job cuts are affecting the Prairie Region. The numbers on this page are based on what departments provide us. They are always changing and may not be up to date or accurate.

For information on affected PSAC members outside of the Prairie Region, visit the PSAC National website.
