Re: Solidarity Kid’s Camp of Manitoba
The PSAC Prairie Region is looking for one Sister or Brother from Manitoba to attend the Solidarity Kid’s Camp as camp counsellor at Caddy Lake Camp, in the Whiteshell, during the week of August 18‐24, 2013. The week‐long camp will focus on issues relevant to young people including challenges, social justice and equality issues. Of course, the camp also includes swimming, games, sports, crafts, movie nights and campfires.
PSAC Prairie Region will provide loss of salary and mileage (up to a maximum of 600 km, roundtrip) to the Sister/Brother chosen to attend as camp ounsellor, while meals and accommodation will be provided by the CLC as part of the camp. They will also be required to follow the policy and procedures of the camp including obtaining a Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registery Check (costs covered by the Camp).
