  • Phoenix Food Drive:

    Since 2016, over 200,000 federal public service workers and their families across Canada have been impacted by Phoenix. Federal Public Service workers show up every day to deliver the crucial services that Canadians depend on—even when they stop getting paid. These workers and their families have suffered financial and emotional fallout from the Phoenix pay system disaster.

    We will be holding a short meeting to select the Calgary Regional Women’s Committee delegate to the National Women’s Conference.

     A Halloween treat will be provided to each attendee. 

    The meeting will be short (1/2 hour or less) and a regular meeting of the RWC will follow in early November.

  • Grievance Handling:

    2 Day Workshop open to all Southern AB Locals (All members, and new Local Stewards are encouraged to apply).

    Gives new shop Stewards essential knowledge for handling Level I Grievances. Participants gain a better understanding of how to work with members at the initial stages of the grievance procedure and how to mobilize members around workplace problems.

     

  • This course will bring together Local Executive members for skill development and knowledge building.
