Treasury Board and PSAC have agreed to engage in exploratory discussions with the objective of reaching early collective agreements. The bargaining teams from the last round are being reconvened to start talks on September 21st or 22nd.

Our negotiating team has been getting fully prepared for the first bargaining session with the Canada Revenue Agency.

Call out to PSAC equity activists (Aboriginal, Racialized Worker, Member with disability, GLBT), Regional Women's Committee member, and Youth activists (30 or younger) to participate in Treasury Board Bargaining Conferences.

 Let the games begin! After more than seven weeks on the picket line, members of PSAC and management at Casino Regina have struck a deal that will see Casino workers, including table dealers, cashiers, security and others, return to their jobs July 27.

PSAC members from the Saskatoon area will picket in front of the Minister’s Constituency Office – as he is also MLA for Saskatoon Silver Springs – sending a strong message that they won’t be ignored. The peaceful protest will commence at 11:00 a.m on Monday, July 19.

 From picketing to political action, striking Casino Regina employees will host a rally at the Regina Legislative Building on July 8, 2010 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and are asking all supporters and friends to join them in solidarity.

 While employees of Casino Regina continue to walk the picket line, representatives from both the Union and the Employer met today for an informal check-in.
