Prairies Youth Initiative April 18-20/08 in Winnipeg
The first ever Prairies Youth Initiative brought together 24 participants from across the Region in hopes of "Inspiring Change" |
Our Youth members clearly identified the need to mentor young activists, continue to build communication among Youth members in our union and to plan for the future strength and success of the PSAC. |

A Statement from Brother Ahmad:
"As Youth Rep I intend to promote establishment of the youth network by making our
young workers more aware of our union, its values, benefits, and the fact that they are
a part of the growing discussion about our workplace. This initiative is not a new one,
but something that needs to be energized with a new representative. I feel I can do
the job, and do it well. An educated base of young people can help determine the
future for PSAC and our ever changing workplace".
