Minutes of Meeting

Wednesday, December 13, 2006 – 5:15p.m.

Present:  Andre Paul – Parks Canada 40107, Coralee Vaillancourt – Parks Canada 40107, Rob Coffee – INAC, Gerald Wiegers – USGE 40023

Meeting called to order: 5:20p.m.

1.  Business arising out of last meeting

• Bill payment at the Travelodge?  Rob received faxed invoice and he will go to the Travelodge and pay that invoice plus the charges for November 22 meeting.
• USGE will do a site on site Essential Service Agreement then proceed to send them to National Office.

• N.A.I.M.
• Prairies Region holding By-election for male representative.
• Daniel Curotte and Alex Bishop are running for the position of alternate.

• Gerald and Heather are putting together an education training module on Essential Service Agreement.  Training should be held sometime in January.

• Issues to be discussed at next meeting
• If there is an election it is felt that we should be holding an all candidates forum similar to last election.
• all agreed
• Collective bargaining – set up an email tree to keep all locals in area informed and up to date with each other.
• Update members about Women’s Committee.
• What to do about money in bank account – active committee can access money.
