MINUTES OF MEETING

AGM

AGM will be held at the PSAC office. The date for the AGM will be determined as to allow sufficient time to audit the financial statement. Della Winkler and Barry Stolar were appointed to audit the books.

Open House

The open house for the new location of the PSAC office will be combined with a Christmas party. The costs will be shared by the Area Council, the Human Rights Committee and the Women's Committee. The date has been set for December 16, 2004

4:00 to 7:00 .

The Agriculture E.O. committee will also be donating some funds to help with the cost. Marianne will invite guests from the Saskatoon & District Labour Council as well as the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour. Carol will circulate a poster for the Open House.

PRC Meeting

The bylaw committee spent a lot of time on the bylaws. There was clarification on wording as well as some housekeeping issues were dealt with. Ottawa will be supplying wording for the elections since the REVP will be elected from the Regional Convention.

The PRC plan on further developing the regulations, however these may not be ready for the upcoming convention.

Resolutions

Consensus was reached on which resolutions would be submitted to the Prairie Region convention on behalf of the Area Council, Human Rights Committee and the Women's Committee. Carol and Marianne will draft the resolutions and distribute them to the committees for approval.
