Background:

Maggie Armstrong, PSAC Regional Office provided a brief history on the Calgary Women's Committee. The old committee lacked focus towards the end and folded due to lack of interest from the PSAC membership. One of the primary goals of this Women's Committee will be to revitalize interest in this committee among the PSAC membership in Southern Alberta.

Passing On The Records:

Nicole Frechette, who was a member of the previous Women's Committee, will make arrangements to gather together the books and pass them on to the new committee. She will also finalize all the paperwork associated with the Women's Committee bank account, and balance the books to turn over to the new treasurer.

Nicole will arrange with the bank for closing of the current bank account, and reopening to another branch more convenient to the new Treasurer, Teresita. The second signature on the bank account will be Heike McRae, who works close to Teresita.

Teresita and Nicole will make arrangements to meet and exchange the financial books.
