May Day Statement from the CLC:

Restoring the freedom to choose
Around the world, working people and their unions take the first day in May to celebrate. As workers, we celebrate the accomplishments of our labour and how, through our work and our abilities, we have made our communities better places to live. As unions, we celebrate because so many of these accomplishments have only been possible through the strength and solidarity that workers find when they bring us into their workplaces. Canadians know that having a union and a collective agreement at work results in higher wages and better working conditions. See more>>>>>>>>
