FINANCIAL APPEAL
BOYCOTT SOBEYS IN REGINA AND SASKATOON
The boycott remains in place for the Sobeys in both Regina and Saskatoon.
The members of RWDSU 454 have been on strike at the South Albert Street Sobeys store in Regina since September, 2005. Their agreement expired in January 2005 and there has been little progress at the bargaining table. While wages and benefits are major issues, the day to day treatment of staff remains high on the union's agenda.
Don't shop at Sobeys. There are lots of other union places to shop!!
Continue to support the workers. Tell your friends, family and neighbours. Make financial support payable to RWDSU 454 and mail to the SFL office.
RWDSU 950 - LOCKOUT
28 members of RWDSU 950 remain locked out at the Imperial 400 in Swift Current. They have been on the picket lne since December 2004. Their contract expired on June 30, 2003 and the workers remain fiirmly resolved to reach an acceptable agreement.
They need your help! Join their picket line located on the South Service Road that runs parallel to the Trans Canada Highway on the east end of the city.
