REVP Letter: United Way 2011 Campaign

Dear Sisters & Brothers,

The United Way has reached the halfway point of their annual fundraising campaigns in major cities across the Prairie Region.

I urge you, sisters and brothers, to once again donate generously to United Way. Every dollar raised goes directly to enrich the lives of those less fortunate in your communities. Contributions can be made through volunteer hours, cash donations or payroll deductions.

In 2010, the United Way raised millions to fund programs and services that aim to solve social problems such as poverty, health disparities, poor literacy and lack of affordable housing across Canada.

PSAC members share an important vision with the United Way in our work to build stronger, healthier communities. Again this year, we are faced with an increasing number of people who need the help of the United Way. With your help, we can make a difference.
