  • Basic Duty to Accommodate

    Edmonton – Oct. 28th and 29th, 2017 Saturday, Sunday (9am-5pm)

    This introduction to the Duty to Accommodate will explore the concepts behind discrimination, defining accommodation, the laws that govern accommodation, jurisprudence, and the responsibilities of all parties (the member, the union and the employer), with respect to workplace accommodation.

  • A Women's Place is in Her Union - Oct 28, 2017 9:00am to 4:30pm

  • An introduction to the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) for Aboriginal Members. This two-day course is for First Nation, Inuit and Metis members and live in Manitoba who have had little or no exposure to the PSAC and would like to learn more about it. During the course, participants will learn more about the role of the union in advancing Aboriginal rights in the workplace, the union, and our communities, resources and decision-making in the PSAC, and how to become more active in the PSAC through local, regional and national structures.
